My Thai Yoga Massage, Chakra Balancing Experience

Updated: Sep 15, 2020

Since I am focus on Solar Plexus this week I decided to stop in my tracks and refresh my vibes. I know my solar plexus is spinning because I have a high vibe to focus on my authentic self. So I made a appointment with my go to person Allison from All is One Holistic.

I have been on a go recently with my jewelry line, my 9-5, my kids and my relationship that I had to just stop in my tracks. I was feeling the pressure and overwhelmed. Being a happy go-getter anything off key can throw me off balance and have me feeling really stressed. I had to find ways to keep my stress levels down or keep me out of that dark space. Once I started my spiritual journey I started looking for different places to help me balance my vibes. I been to a few places and then came across All is One Holistic Wellness. I loved her vibe just by her IG page and was even more connected after meeting her in person. Being a mommy I could never really make her events, but yesterday I dropped everything and at 3 a.m. booked my appointment.

Who is All is One Holistic

Her name is Allison, which by the way I love how she incorporated this into her business name. Anywho she is a Certified Jiivana Yoga Instructor, Certified Thai Yoga Massage Practitioner and Certified Reiki Master who offers Holistic Services at a private location in Upper Marlboro, MD! Did I mention she is easy to talk too and extremely great at what she does? Yes she is great!!! Check her out if you are interested in fixing them vibes.

My Session

I knew I been off lately by doing my own Reiki, however I needed to get re-balanced. So I booked a 30 Minute Chakra Balancing and my first ever Thai Yoga Massage. Chakra balancing is important because it helps you focus on areas that are off, under and over balanced. I won't get too deep since my entire site is dedicated to Chakras, but this is a great way to focus. My Thai Yoga Massage was EVERYTHING. I was nervous at first because it looks painful, however it feels no way near how it looks. When done right you not only feel relaxed, but you will feel well stretched out. I will definitely do this combo again or just a full hour session. This with a warm bath after will make you sleep like a baby. According to ancient Asian culture Thai massages also utilizes energy work, which, treats the subtle energetic field within the body. So this combo is great because not only did I learn the chakra areas I need to focus on, but this helps open your joints to receive that energy. That is why it is important to stay hydrated as much as you can. At least for those first few hours after a massage, avoid caffeine and alcohol, which are all dehydrating

Benefits of a Thai Yoga Massage

A Thai Yoga Massage stimulates pressure points to open the body’s energy pathways and allows the body to heal. It’s a more active type of massage with different yoga poses which allow for a deeper stretch. This technique differs from a traditional massage but has many benefits to help heal your body. Unsure if this type of massage is for you? Here are seven benefits of a Thai Yoga Massage: 1. Increased flexibility 2. Relieves pain and muscle tension 3. Improves range of motion 4. Deep relaxation and relieves stress 5. Improves range of motion 6. Improves circulation and lymphatic flow 7. Reduces headaches and increases energy level

Do I recommend a Thai Yoga Massage?

YES even if it looks like it hurts, trust me when I say it feels great.
